Help with crowd calendar

I am new to this website and I am working on reading their book. We are traveling June 15-23. I am trying to figure out which days to visit which parks and Magic Kingdom is the lowest on every day of our trip and the other 3 are all pretty much the same, 7s mostly and maybe off by 1 or 2 for the crowd levels. Is this always typical? Is Magic Kingdom always the least busy? This does not help much figuring out which park to do which day :-/

I think it is typical that within any given week, there is generally not much variance in crowd level from day to day [except (1) days with early closures due to holiday parties or private events or (2) days near holiday weekends or school days off]. I find the crowd calendar more helpful in picking which time of year or week to go.

“Least busy” is not what TP’s crowd levels indicate. TP bases the CL on the wait time for attractions, using a group of the more popular attractions during the main daytime hours. MK has more attractions than the other parks, so the crowds spread out better among them, with slightly lower waits for the key attractions.

Also, CL differences of 2 or even 3 levels are hard to notice. I wouldn’t worry much about trying to choose days based on such slight differences. It’s too easy for a park to have an actual CL that ends up 1 or 2 levels higher or lower than predicted.

The best thing for us is be at the park we finally decide to go to at least 30 minutes before the published opening time. If Disney says the park opens at 7 am for Disney on property guests - be there at 6:30 am.

In July 2018 Hollywood Studios was officially to open at 6:30 am (if memory serves). We were at the resort bus stop about 5:45. In the dark. Got to HS about 6:25 and guests were already heading toward Pixar Place. We went to Tower of Terror.

I want to add to my answer that I don’t think it is worth stressing over a couple points one way or another in the crowd calendar. You are better off focusing your time on coming with a good touring plan for each park you are visiting and (if LLs are in your budget) learning the LL system.

Welcome to the forum! Don’t disagree with the others but I tend to plan around days of the week. In the digital world Crowd Calendars and levels have less value. Mondays tend to be bad for MK and HS as people make for them after arriving at weekends which is when those parks can be good at weekends. EPCOT can get lots of locals at Friday nights/weekends so is often busy.
