Help prepping for Jersey week!

Hi folks! My family (2 adults, 2 kids ages 6 and 9), along with what seems like our whole town , is headed to Universal and WDW for the first week of November (trip details below for reference)! Our last trip was Spring 2021, so the crowd situation was very different. We have our touring plans mostly set, but would love input on a few specific situations. This forum is incredible, so thanks in advance for all of your expertise!

  1. Does anyone have experience with Extended Evening Hours at AK? Specifically, how are waits for the Pandora rides? We always rope-drop, but would consider a later start/midday break and return at night if the waits are low (and to see Pandora in the dark!)
  2. Virtual queues and rider swap-if doing rider swap, do all parties need to have a boarding group, even the kid who isn’t riding?
  3. I know crowds are just starting to pick up and have seen some discussion about this-we’ll be doing MK on a party day (1st night of the Christmas party) and leaving by about 5. We’re debating on whether to buy LLMP for that day (we have another 1/2 day at MK earlier in the week). Would love thoughts on whether it’s worth it (I know that’s a subjective thing!)-will definitely rope-drop that day!

Trip details: 11/1-11/9
11/2-11/4: Universal (staying at RPR)
Mon, 11/4: Transfer to Beach Club, character breakfast and afternoon in MK
Tues, 11/5: EPCOT
Wed, 11/6: AK
Th, 11/7: HS
Fri, 11/8: MK

Hi!
1- no experience here, but most after hours will have better waits.
If you can stay up late, the ability to see pandora at night in the dark sounds amazing!
Animal kingdom is such a beautiful park and it’s never open late, so nobody gets to see the bioluminescence or glowing of pandora anymore!

2- kid who is not riding does not need a boarding group, but everyone else should get one. I believe the rider switch is only 1 person plus 1 more. It’s easier to just have what you need booked and ready for you.

3- I always buy llmp, because time is money at wdw and you can never get that vacation time back but you can earn the money back.
If there was ever a time to skip llmp, it would be at animal kingdom, epcot ( early rope dropping) , or mk on a party day.

I jdon’t like waiting in long lines and party days while lighter, still have waits and popular things can be 30+ minutes still.

:blush:you’re going to have an amazing time!
