Hi - I am helping a new friend plan a very last minute trip for her little family. They are not WDW newbies but they aren’t big planners and this trip is in less than a month. This family has been through a lot and need this trip so I offered to plan it for them. They are staying offsite and she promised me her daughter can hack it till midnight
So far the shell is:
Dec 13 - arrive MCO 1:20pm - After 4pm Epcot
Dec 14 - 1900 Park Fare 11:30am; Monorail tour; MVMCP
Dec 15 - DHS
Dec 16 - MK or Epcot morning (?) Depart MCO 3:42pm
She would like 2 sit-down meals which I obviously need to try and book ASAP. I’m thinking of maybe a late character breakfast on the party day? Do I have them do 2 half days at Epcot or do I send them back to MK? (They did AK on their last visit but not DHS.)
I also might encourage some resort touring on the DHS day. Later start, resort breakkie (YC? BW?) and then over to DHS for midday through evening time.
This is the same weekend I am taking my Mom!
My one sadness is that I am unable to figure out how to work in AK at night
I was actually thinking that 2.5 hours was going to be too long to “kill time” but that may work out well! Mono from GF to MK and then ferry to/from WL in enough time to be back by like 3:30.
For the party, unless they want to see Jack and Sally, it may be less chaotic and more enjoyable to show up closer to 5 by which time the crush of party rope droppers will have dwindled. Otherwise they should probably be back at MK gates closer to 3.
