We just got home from our trip and my 4 year old loved a toy at Test Track, specifically the lightning McQueen bubble rc car. I didn’t feel like waiting in line so I told him we’d order it. Now I see it is not on the online Disney Store and he’s been telling everyone he has this car coming to meet him at home.
Does anyone know of a reliable source to get this? I’ve noticed it on eBay marked up like 2x which is crazy. And also on weird looking websites that are more than likely scams.
Any recommendations? Thank you in advance!
He also lost his popcorn lid, so any ideas on if that can be ordered somehow that would be a cherry on top! Probably a longshot.
There are a lot of people who go into Disney, buy popular merch, and them sell it at a huge mark-up for this very reason…lots of people regret not having made such a purchase while at the marks. That part doesn’t bother me (it is capitalism at work!), UNLESS they are also going in and buying up the merch from the parks so that others can’t buy it (which some people do as well)!
Disney sells only a very small subset of their items in their on-line store, so your best bet is to see if there is anyone who will be in the parks in the coming days from here who is willing to buy it and ship it for you. I’ve had some VERY nice people do that for me a couple of times.
