Help! We are going to WDW in April and have not been in 7 years. I think I am up to date on the FastPass+ system and MagicBands. I just learned about MK opening an hour prior to rope drop. What else has changed since my last visit? We are staying on property. I am worried that I am missing something! Thanks!!

One place to start looking is in the UG, at the “What’s New Since Your Last Visit” in the overview section. It has lists for 2, 5, and 10 years.

Metal detectors at park entrances. Morning show at MK moved from park entrance to castle. Rivers of Light at AK. Major renovations at Hollywood Studios and Disney Springs(Downtown Disney)

New Fantasyland at the MK would be new as well - that includes Be Our Guest, 7 Dwarves Mine Train etc. Skipper Canteen is new at MK as well for food, although somewhat less exciting than new Fantasyland…
