Does anyone one know when they will release the schedule for any Halloween festivities?
I have just booked a trip for Sept 3-8 and we might consider a party night.

DLR does things quite slowly in comparison to WDW. It looks like in 2023 they announced the Oogie Boogie Bash dates at the end of May. I think that was the earliest ever, I have gone yearly for quite awhile and it used to be June when they released the dates. Almost every week the parties are Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday though. Randomly there will be a Saturday, but not often.
Halloween events are starting August 23rd this year, which is also not their usual. You should have several nights that will work out for your dates.

I am holding off on buying passes as we may do the party one day instead of the park if that makes sense.

We did that in 2022. Slept in, went to a late breakfast at Storytellers, then spent a little time in Downtown Disney and back to the hotel to get costumed up for the party.
