@darkmite2 Told me to start this awhile ago and I forgot! But here we are and I’ve just bought tickets for Oct 16th. So let’s do it. Please feel free to make house announcements or say if you’re going too and when if you want. Maybe we’ll bump into each other!
Halloween Horror Nights | Universal Studios Hollywood
My mom is gonna be so excited, they announced Hellraiser!
These are the rides that will be open:
And there will be the terror tram and scare zones as always.

We decided to do the post 2pm tickets with Express pass (one ride per attraction during regular hours) and one for everything open during HHN event itself so sounds like the rides that are open in both like Mummy we can double ride? Can anyone confirm or deny my understanding?
We decided to do this over the RIP tour which was only $100 more pp because of the lack of Jurassic World and Life of Pets during the party neither of which my mom has seen (she’s ridden the old Jurassic Park version) and I think they are both excellent attractions. I also looked up some info on express pass lines for mazes and according to someone that reported online sounds like we’ll be waiting about 15 minutes or so in those lines so I think that seems doable. Hope I don’t regret that decision as I’ve only ever done RIP tours for HHN on both coasts. But one of the things I don’t like about RIP tours is the rigidity and being with other families. So I’ll do an honest comparison to find out if it’s really worth it. I know I will miss the AC private bus around this hilly AF park! LOL

Yes. These are separate pass that don’t interact with each other.
No one know how Fast and Furious will operate during the event yet.
If you have Express Passes, I’m not sure you need to do the RIP.
In Orlando, the typical wait in the Express Queue is typically 12 minutes or less. (Multiple years of experience)
I would presume the same on Hollywood.
In my prep for Hollywood, I have been told to RD the mazes on the lower lot and do everything down there first. Most people start at the upper lot.
There’s 8 houses, so that’s 2 fewer than Orlando
I am planning for the after 2pm ticket. Then getting the UXP for HHN only. I tend to stay all the way until 2am, so I feel confident I can do every maze and ride. (Plus, watch the WaterWorld Stunt show in the daytime)

KK, WRT to F&F it appears we should have access to it but that may not be XP:
Whereas the non XP 2pm ticket explicitly states does not include access to F&F:

But when you buy the XP for HHN itself you’ll get access:

Im honestly always okay with this. I’ve bailed before completing repeat ones in Orlando before cuz 10 is honestly a lot! But I do think generally Orlando does a better job of HHN. Though the Stranger Things 2 house in Hollywood was excellent.
And Hollywood has the terror tram.

AI can lie and it can lie well but here is what chatGPT said to expect wrt to express lines:
Saying 10 houses makes me think AI got that data from Florida! See it lies!

Until we get an actual opening date I’m not going to count on it.

USH said it would open “Summer 2026.” It’s already mid-July. I get that theme park “Summer” goes all the way to Labor Day though.

I saw a title to a youtube video that said they were having issues with it, so that might be causing a delay. Let’s hope Oct is still in the cards!
Yeah, I’ve seen a couple of those too! It was testing a lot recently. I even saw it running back in May when I was there. I had hoped it would’ve opened before July 4th.

The most recent F&F coaster video I saw, from last weekend, says it is testing again. It appears that the decorative “spoliers” on the rear of the cars snapped off during testing at least twice. One piece came down on the Starway glass covering and shattered it. Another piece came off during ride testing with TMs on board.
The ride vehicles have all had these decorative pieces removed.

Who needs decor when you’re driving F&F.
