I agree. Imagine walking that path at sunrise or sunset. Or even during the fireworks.

I think April 2020 is ambitious, knowing how Disney moves on construction projects. Fingers crossed for you, though.

Bioreconstruct has posted pictures of shoring materials and a large crane in place as well as surveying markings showing the projected path of the new walkway.
@BGK has firsthand knowledge of the permitting process in Florida, I have some experience in a different state where the extension of a sidewalk on private property, that’s something that would typically not require much if any permits. I’m guessing Florida could be similar.
Crossing the service canal and erecting a bridge is a different issue. Anytime you work around water involves EPA, EPD, Army COE. That can be a lot of red tape.
