Wondering if anybody has stayed in a deluxe king room @ the Grand Floridian main building? Booked one (club level) for the end of July and from what I can find out it appears that there are only 6 such rooms in the main building? I have been told that there are also 14 king bed rooms on the second floor. If anyone can provide some info it would be greatly appreciated.

We stayed in one back in 2007 on our honeymoon. In one of the “turrets” . You should do a search over at disboards. Lots of pictures and other info.
We stayed in a deluxe room in the main building a few years ago, and I am pretty sure most of the rooms are deluxe rooms (plus suites) in the main bldg. We were in a room with our kids so we had 2 double beds so can’t respond to the king bed situation, but I would say the best advice would be to call the Grand Floridian for confirmation on the room types. We loved the Grand Floridian Main Bldg…enjoy!!!

told us we should have a tower room.
