There doesn’t seem to be a room request feature for DLR on Touring Plans? What’s the best method to make a request? Through my travel agent, maybe? We have a standard view, but we prefer to be away from noise such as the elevators.

There isn’t a standard way. If you have a travel agent, ask them. If not, try calling. Or request something when you check in.

We’ve stayed at the GrandCA a few times now, and it is SO quiet. We had a room near the pool (standard) and it was quite loud on the balcony, could hear the music bc I think they were doing games or something, but it was LOUD. I shut the door in the room, and silence. I love it. We’ve stayed in different parts of the resort each time and it’s so fun- I liked when we were right by the back side of Goofy’s Sky School because we could actually see the ride operating, but that room was probably the one that was the farthest away from everything.

We stayed there in 2022 and February 2023. I called both times and requested a quiet room away from the elevator, away from the ice machine, no connecting door. We got a room that met those requests. Very quiet, standard view.
