Gifts at WDW

A friend asked me a question today that I don’t have much information for. Hoping y’all can help.

She has someone coming to WDW - staying at Poly. Reservation at Victoria and Albert and also a reservation at Geo. She’s wanting to surprise them with a gift while they are here.

I shared the official link with the balloons, bouquets, etc but does anyone have other ideas or knowledge about in room or at ADR gifts/surprises?

What do you give the person who’s already got everything?

Sorry, I have no help to offer.

I did have a similar thought when she told me the locations lol. I think it’s an anniversary trip.

When will they be there? I’ll be there in a couple weeks and can drop something at their resort if they wanted.

What about a Capture Your Moment photo session at their favorite park? I’ve seen rave reviews from those who have done them. Oh, but that’s not in the room or at an ADR.

There is a Facebook group called Ear For Each Other where a bunch of local vendors advertise services from beauty to personal shopping to food deliveries.

For my 40th, my mom did an ‘in room’ balloon and cupcakes delivery for me. It was quite a surprise…had no idea why someone was knocking on my door an hour after I’d checked in. It isn’t like a cruise - the room won’t be decorated before you arrive…but the delivery was still nice.

The cupcakes were good, and the balloon was really cute - but I had to ditch all the stuff before I flew home and that felt pretty wasteful. Still, a really sweet surprise!

There’s nothing to be done at V&A - they make your night as special as possible for you every time. I don’t know if they would do something at Geo82 since that is more a bar vibe (but I haven’t been there).

I always heard penicillin was appropriate

We found someone on Ears for Each Other that came while we were out at the Park and decorated our room, but we had to add them as a day guest so they could get in, so that probably isn’t helpful. But I do second looking on that FB page for ideas!
