If you are paying for a table service meal with a gift card, can you also add the tip to the gift card?

One thing you might run into is that most restaurant computers (not Disney-specific) can’t run a payment method just for the tip. So if your bill is $50 and you have two $50 gift cards, you’ll need to tip in cash. They can’t swipe the second gift card because there’s nothing left of the original bill.
Or be prepared to consolidate your gift cards on the fly from your phone.
Yes. We use Disney Gift cards for all meals/souvenirs and pay meal cost + tip via gift card.
