Anyone know why Gaston is not meeting at MK anymore? The last 2 times we went that was the highlight of the trip. Is this a case of Disney becoming too woke or just a cost saving measure.

He’s just simply one of the characters who hasn’t returned yet.

I suspect it is neither of those, but is do to the difficulty of hiring currently.
Edit to Add: I think Gaston was meeting guests at MNSSHP when were there a couple weeks ago.

As much as I agree they ghastly woke, I think this is they have more characters than available talent and have to fill some rolls far more quickly than others. Even if you have to most Gaston-looking dude apply, if you don’t have enough Mickeys and Plutos, you need to fill those first.
