Florida dissolving Reedy Creek

Little worried about Florida taking this away. I read an article that says that this move means that Disney can no longer have their own security force, their own refuse systems, maintenance, etc. All things that would normally be dealt with by Reedy Creek will now cost the city of Orlando at least 5 to 10 million dollars per year, plus the service on a billion dollar loan that the city must now absorb for some reason beyond my understanding. I can’t imagine that the city will be able to provide the level of service we’ve become accustomed to on Disney property. Anyone have any further insight, particularly those of you that live in the area?

Thanks for that link. I was actually thinking mostly about the services. Hadn’t thought about the constitutional issue, that it could be construed as a government retaliating against free speech. That’s an interesting point.
