Hi all! Four days out and doing random spot checks of the app this week to get a better idea of what generally next week might look like, and this wait time chart for Flight of Passage seems weird? Is this accurate?
The 72 min time is likely because Disney likes to artificially inflate wait times pretty quickly at rope drop. So, that is likely not reality. But the 10 minutes the immediately follows always seems odd.
Generally, though, the graph is somewhat representative of what happens if you ignore actual wait times. Being at the FRONT of the early entry rope drop crowd, you will have a pretty low wait…but then the rest of the rope drop crowd hits, and the wait time shoots up. As those folks finish riding, the wait time will dip until the non-early-entry rope-dropping folks start to hit, hence the rise in wait times after that before it settles in.
I’m gonna guess (and it is just conjecture) that those who pay for a 9:00 LLSP for the ride don’t really show up right at 9, because part of the reason for paying is they don’t have to worry about waits. So, the increase in wait times at 10:30 is probably reflective of the fact that by then the LLSP line is now flowing enough to impact the standby line.
