Trying to figure out if staying at a more expensive hotel that offers the express pass or staying at a lower level and paying for express pass is better. We will be there either 2-nights 3 days or 3 nights 3 days and transferring over to WDW on the morning of the 4th day. Wasn’t sure if the express pass that comes with the hotel room is the one that we can use with park hopping unlimited or what the deal with it was. Going to probably do the 2 Park 3 day ticket for $99 per day. But wasn’t sure which express pass came with the hotel. TIA
The express pass that you get from staying at one of the Deluxe hotels is the unlimited express pass, good at both IOA and USO but not Volcano Bay. Depending on the number in your party, and for how many days you want it staying at a Deluxe is usually less expensive than buying the express pass separately. It is good both check-in and check-out days and however many you have in between.

It’s still the same! Unlimited, both parks express pass

I’ll emphasize, the bigger your party, the more it’s worth it to stay at a Premier hotel, rather than buying the express pass separately.
