Hey! I’m wondering about fireworks viewing options outside of the parks. Any input?
Lots of options! Which show are you looking for?
Either MK or Epcot would be great, but I think MK would be a better show? But I haven’t seen Epcot in at least 5 years though so maybe not!
I would prefer to not have to get a dining reservation to see it, I think. That should help narrow it down.
This would be tricky if you’re planning to drive. If you’re open to using WDW transport - or if you don’t mind parking at TTC - I have some ideas
Oh, we love Disney transport. Bus, Skyliner, boat- it is actually preferred over driving.
And I should specify: I’m not opposed to making a dining reservation. Dinner then fireworks sounds great. I just don’t want to have to have a reservation at the time of fireworks- I think that’s what you need to watch the fireworks at Cali Grill, right?
No. You can have it anytime during the day and just show your receipt when it’s time to watch.
I would drive to the TTC and walk to the Poly beach to watch!
I had no idea! Thank you!
a girl after my own heart. This is why I mentioned driving to TTC! This is 100% my top recommendation
Agree this is a great place to watch - there’s plenty of space for kids to run freely and we grabbed some nice snacks from Tambu Lounge right after (there are also great grab-and-go options at Captain Cook’s and the little Kona Island kiosk upstairs, or of course Dole Whips from Pineapple Lanai).
We equally enjoyed watching the MK fireworks from the GF marina (after a yummy QS dinner from Gasparilla Island Grill) - the view is more angled than the one from the Poly, but also closer so to me it felt even more immersed. Lots of nice food and lounge options at GF too!
I have never watched from the CR, but it’s on my list!
Sounds like Poly beach will be a great option. Thank you everyone!
Also a great spot! Or the ferry dock, which is where I have watched from.
Would mean parking at TTC and monorailing over
What are the procedures if you use WDW transportation? Especially exiting, and heading to Pop.
From Poly or TTC?
In any situation where you’re at a resort and need to get to another resort you have to first get to a park or DS and then bus or whatever from there
You could get a supper reservation at Topolinos for about 8:30 or so and hope they don’t seat you behind a pillar even tho it says celebrating two birthdays on the reservation. ![]()

Grand Floridian is also a great spot. We like to sit at the outdoor tables in front of Gasparilla Island Grill (the quick service restaurant) with a snack/treat.
At GF or Poly you can also see the water pageant.
