Fireworks/Night time shows

Looks like the week we’ll be in Universal (Feb 24th) there are no shows running on the castle or cinesational show - just based on the schedule I see on their website, which I know can change.

Does anyone know if there are any fireworks or fun nighttime shows around the area? without paying for a park ticket somewhere else =S

At USF they will be having the Mardi Gras parade to close out the night. You can watch the floats pass by and catch beads. It’s a lot of fun!

You can actually be on a parade float if you buy the “dining package” or are an Annual Passholder…

There’s plenty of “night life” in CityWalk, but it is focused on adults…

Catch A Rising Star Karaoke Bar
Pat O’Brien’s Dueling Piano Bar
Hard Rock Live! (Concerts & Shows - separate ticket required)

There is the Hollywood Drive-In mini golf and the Universal Great Movie Escape Experience for activities that anyone can enjoy!

(If you are staying on-site visit the “vacation planning” desk in the lobby for coupons on various CityWalk attractions / restaurants)

Also, just down the road is “Fun Spot”. It’s an amusement park with carnival rides & such, but is pretty affordable.

However, there are no “fireworks” or such in the area that are free or easy to view from UOR.
