I would create an MDE account for them.

Just as an example, but I think it may help answer your question…I booked all my family’s FP+ when they were originally all listed as “we’re planning together”. Then, I invited my DH and sister to link their MDE accounts to mine. Now, we have three MDE accounts all linked together, and I can still book and change FP+ for everyone.
As long as their tickets and hotel reservations (if staying onsite) are listed on your MDE account, whether through linked MDE accounts or just your MDE account alone, you should be able to make and modify FP+ for all listed.
But I’m also a first timer in over 30 years…just learning as I go.
