Extended Evening Hours Strategy for Magic Kingdom and Epcot

Visiting Aug 8 - Aug 16 and fortunate to be staying in DLX. First time taking advantage of EEH (not events) at Epcot and Magic Kingdom. We are lucky to have multiple days to visit each part so are thinking of skipping fireworks / Starlight those evenings and getting a jump on rides. Any tips or suggestions on what works well those nights to maximize rides? Think we will try to tap in at end of night at Tron / 7DMT and Guardians / Test Track but other than that pretty open.

7DMT line usually dips during fireworks. We got lucky one night and went over the hill just in time for the finale of the fireworks. It was so cool.

Tron seems to keep a long-ish line all night.

We got rained out for EEH at MK so no advice there. We were tired of being rained on and left when HEA kept getting pushed back due to lightning.

We will be at EP 8/11 and MK 8/13 for ETPH and made specific touring plans. I followed a liners suggestion to make individual AM and PM plans to force certain rides before the break and others after.

EPCOT is always a challenge because of the distances. Avoid GoTG at the start it will be full of day guests. So Zag while others Zig. TT3.0 may alter things a bit. We’ve never had a low wait time at the end of the night at any ride - so as long as you don’t mind it’s not “park time”. Just double check that the MK is actually in MK. Party season starts around then and they switch it to AK/DHS. I think you’re fine bit do check. Ignore the posted waits - they will almost certainly be exaggerated. Avoid headliners at “standard” park close. They’ll be full of day guests - though Starlight will likely pull the crowds so you could be fine anywhere in MK.
