I’m thinking of purchasing the XP for our 1 day at EU but had a couple of questions that I hope you all can help me with.
During the purchase options on Universal’s website, it lists 3 possible methods for me to obtain my XP:
- Mobile ticket (delivered via email and to my account’s Wallet)
- In park pick up at Guest Services
- Pick up at Ticket Window
The first option seems the most straightforward (and not eat up precious Early Entry time!) but I’m the only one in my party with a Universal account, meaning only my phone will have the XPs. However, I’m not planning to go on every XP eligible ride. Can I have other party members download the Universal app on their own phones but sign into MY account so that they can all access the XPs? I’m not sure how robust the Universal app is with linking party members like they do at Disney if my family members created their own Universal accounts.
Also, does XP at EU use Facial Recognition tech at each attraction or do they only scan the XP’s barcode?
