Dopey is less than a week away and I am beyond excited and nervous and ready!!
Haven’t been to the Expo on Day 1 since they started using VQs for the Merch. Does it function the way the ones in the parks did where they’ll wave you through if you’re late? Or don’t make it within a certain time of your group being called?
Flying in Wednesday and plan to head straight to ESPN after we land at 10:30. Can’t decide if I should aim for the VQ at 8:30 or at 1:00. According to the Expo details in the guide you can only join the VQ once so I don’t want to join the 8:30 one if I’d be in danger of being late and being turned away and then also not able to join at 1.
Also just realized I’ll be trying to join the VQ while in air on my flight if I go for 8:30 so that’s also a fun thing to consider.

The runDisney site states that you can only join the queue once you are within 45 miles of WDW. I don’t know if it actually works that way (I only joined the VQ once since they started using it for the Expo and I was at AK when I joined), but check out the runDisney Expo digital instructions that hopefully you received to the email you used to register for the races.

Oh! I think I remember reading that now and it just went in one ear and out the other I guess. Well, guess it’ll be the 1:00 queue for us. I’m hoping we don’t have some insane wait to get in.

you should do your packet pickup first then — it is in different buildings than the runDisney merchandise store. use the time to get that done first once you have a sense of what time your VQ group will be called
