We have a Typhoon Lagoon Umbrella reservation for August 13 at 10:00 AM. The confirmation email says there’s a “one-day cancellation policy.” Does that mean I can still cancel until exactly 24 hours before (i.e., August 12 at 10:00 AM), or is the deadline midnight the day before? Thanks in advance!

I do not know, but for ADRs I recall it used to be the night before (now it’s 2 hours before). But I would err to the earlier side just to be safe unless there’s a reason (rain?) you want more time to decide.

I recently cancelled my TL umbrella booking just a little bit more than 24 hrs before (at 7am on 1st July for a booking starting at 10am on 2nd July). So it can definitely be done the day immediately before, before 10am.
Not sure how they treat cancellations within the 24hr window (but still the previous calendar day).
When we arrived around noon on 2 July, I believe that umbrellas were still available - but it was a very low crowd day across all parks (which is why I cancelled the reservation in the first place, and easily found a free umbrella near Misadventure Falls).

I feel like TL had a lot of non-paid umbrellas all around. Drastically different from BB where there was a distinct paid umbrella area.
