I’ve waited 40+ years to stay here…
Poly is truly a magical place. I love it there. I’m excited to think there may be accommodations that can … well, accommodate … my whole family again someday. Now that they are truly both bigs it’s not comfy for any of us to squish into a studio even with that extra bath
I don’t think that’s anything to apologise for
The poor frushi!!
With DW ensconced in the lobby of our eventual room’s building, we went off to MK.
Barnstormer, Philharmagic and then Under the Sea.
DD28 and I grabbed a Le Fou’s brew.
Slipping on over to Liberty Square, we snagged a hotdog for DD7.
Then HOP.
DW joined us after HOP.
Had our stack working so we LL’ed BTMRR and Splash back-to-back before hitting supper at SH71
Did DD7 like Splash? She looks a little scared.
Moment of silence for all the lost snacks including the beloved frushi ….
Ooohh. What we’re all those yummy sides? Winners?
S71 is on our must do for our next family trip. Just seems like good bang for the buck!
Every attraction thereafter she wanted to know how many drops there were
Mac n cheese with a crumble for DD28
Field mushrooms for DW
And I went with potatoes au gratin
All were very good.
DW’s steak however was undercooked and quite salty.
My girls did Splash for the first time at age 9 and 11, and it freaked them out. My older daughter was more freaked on that than RNRC or EE.
While it sucks getting up before 7 every morning to use Genie+, it’s nothing compared to that inevitable morning when you don’t have to wake up before 7.
The frushi was very nice.
Yes DD7 was fine with EE but didn’t like how her butt came off the seat on BTMRR or - as you can see - the drop at Splash
This is what I aspire to in my family pictures.
We were a little surprised the CM took it.
So SH71 ended with desserts
Crème brûlée
Ambrosia
And a 15-layer Jack Daniels infused chocolate cake
We all struggled to finish them and all fell short of that lofty goal
