Epic Universe touring plan?

Looks like Epic plans are live now, thanks Len and team. I’ve been having fun running some scenarios today. :face_with_monocle:

Nothing is new in the app… But I checked the web site, and I see events to choose.

Ok, I created a sample plan on the web site, and it became a plan on the app. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong.

Phone apps were updated overnight according to a Touringplans blog post by Jennifer Heymont.

Just a smidge too late for me being in Epic on the 13th & 14th… Would have been helpful

Hopefully everyone has seen.

Is it too early for me to claim the crystal ball award? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::rofl:

You called it. I think 120 minutes would be my family’s limit … which means we are planning on skipping Ministry for our 1 day at Epic.

Do you think they will be able to squeeze in an update to the wait times on the custom plans? I know they don’t have a lot of data to go off of and a lot of it is going to be a guess, but the wait times I have on the 23rd seem generous. It would also be interesting to see what they think ministry will be at on average on standby queue.

Well ive got mine ready. Now we play the waiting game

Great changes. I see there are options for the single rider line.

For the meet and greets, is there a way to assign an amount of time?

I tried to put one together for a potential single day trip in November. It seems VERY optimistic. I would have expected more conservative estimates to start with I think.

I mean just cut everyone

This is exactly right - if you’re the only person in the park that day.

or on a VIP tour maybe? But I mean even they like to describe the attraction which takes 5-10 minutes.

Most people are going to head to Dark U or Ministry at 9 a.m. Isle of Berk is the best option.

We don’t know what November crowds are going to be like yet (bc we don’t know what capacity they’re going to run the park at.) But I don’t think those are bad estimates at all.

I just keep thinking about how slow loading/unloading is on Mine-Cart Madness. Even early in the day it feels like that one is never going to be a short wait. I hope I’m wrong! Dragon Racer’s Rally also feels like it will take forever because capacity is low (though I have to remember only one side was running the day I was there).
I hope these early estimates are spot on!

Is this because you find most people try to hit the big rides first thing in a park, so they’re either going to Ministry or Monsters Unchained? I guess that’s really what a rope drop crowd is there to do now that I say the sentence out loud.

Is there are percentage of ‘average guest’ that is going to either go right or left when they enter the park and hit the portals in order?

Well honestly that works for me! I am contemplating just a single day for my dragon obsessed son’s birthday. All we really want to do is Berk & Mario.

It will be interesting to see how things unfold. I am also planning on 1 day at Epic this fall. We would have early entry but probably wouldn’t get to the park until 8ish. I am imagining 60-75 mins for Mine Cart Madness by the time we get to the land around 8:20/8:30 am. And then heading over to How to Train Your Dragon land where I expect about 90 mins for Wing Gliders, 45 mins for Racer’s Rally and 30 mins for Fyre Drill. There is zero scientific basis behind my expectations, only my personal experiences over the years from trips to WDW and UOR. I hope I’m wrong.
