In all seriousness, that is smart of both UOR and WDW to keep in contact. I don’t know if there are any cartel rules against how much they can collaborate, but just learning how each side operates is helpful for both.

They red shirt guy is explaining to Josh that, no, he doesn’t need lightning lane access to ride anything. He just “gets in line.”

Does anyone know if there is a separate line to just walk through the Ministry of Magic but not actually ride it? I’m wondering if it would be better to do that to see the queue, and then at a different time do single rider or utilize the attraction assistance pass for the actual ride part? There is no way my teen will be able to tolerate a multiple hour line to wait for the ride, but being able to consistently walk through a non-riding viewing queue only might be doable.

I don’t think it is that long. At least when I spot check it in afternoon or later in the day, the wait time has been close to 70 minutes or so. When it first opened, it was not only shiny and new so everyone wanted to ride it, but it wasn’t running at full capacity.

Right now it’s showing a 135 minute wait, but I’m unsure if Universal inflates wait times like Disney does. I’ll keep checking the closer we get to our trip!

Yep, they offer a viewing only walk through. Just ask a TM at the entry. They may only offer it certain times of the day, not sure.

TM told me it was not always open, but it was when we asked. I suspect it has to do with crowd capacity.
