In case you missed it, single day epic tix are on sale for all levels of APs. I got tix for $96 and $99 for dates in sept. I was looking at the same dates a few wks ago and they were in the $150 range.

I wish they would do multi-day tickets for epic. I have an annual pass I would like to activate in December, but if I want to do epic universe, I either have to pay 100$ a day or buy a multi day ticket for parks that I don’t need to. I would be okay spending 150-200$ for a few days access to epic universe, as an add on to my AP.

I’m going in December. I still haven’t decided if I want to buy an new AP and have dated tickets for Epic or a ticket package… I’m going for six days and the ticket package isn’t much more than an AP, but allows for unlimited days of Epic during that time.
I would get more use from an AP in the long-term. However, I don’t know how many trips I am making to Orlando in 2027.

Right now I have three trips planned. December mid January and beginning of February. I feel like that is the minimum I need to get out of a pass to make it worth it. However if I need to buy an epic ticket for each trip it isn’t going to be worth it. Do I push off epic another year and hope life doesn’t interfere with trips planned or do I take the chance and spend crazy amounts of money to go and enjoy myself.

IMHO - Day 4 using an AP is when I feel like the pass has “paid for itself.”
I’m familiar with the obstacles that have prevented you from traveling the last couple of years. If I was in your position, I’d go to Epic while you are there. You’ve had a number of issues that have risen unexpectedly. I’d hate for you to regret nit going when you had the chance!
For me I used to go to UOR Mardi Gras routinely, but the last two years I have gone to Hollywood for Fanfest. I’m planning on going back May 2027 as well.
If VB was open that would make an AP purchase a no-brainer for me.
I don’t know what I would do about HHN 2027. However, this trip is mid-December. I would be able to return for my early December birthday in 2027.
I’m traveling with someone on December that wants to do Epic at least twice.

Preferably four 
(with a 6 day ticket). 2-3 nights & 2 mornings. Ideally on different days, just to break it up and increase the whole trip experience.
The thing with Epic is…those mid day crowds are killer. Since nearly half the park is geared to young families, it’s smart to enter after 4:00 when the kiddies start getting tired and leave.
Since there isn’t quite enough attractions to help with waits/breakdowns, I’ve seen it get very frustrating for visitors. Will be better in a few years with a couple more attractions.
A couple hours at rope drop is of course also a great time.

If I’m going to Orlando at all, I will be going to Epic Universe. I may decide to hold off on activating my 15 month 3 park annual pass and pick up a seasonal pass instead. The question is do I go, or wait. The December trip was originally going to be me, DH, and DC. Now it might be me and my SIL if she can get away. I don’t love long solo trips.
Being able to freely go to Epic would add 200$-450$ to each trip. I don’t know if I can justify taking these trips at this time.

Yea.. I had to use the “AT LEAST” twice as a quailfer! 
I’m really hoping that December heat isn’t as bad this year. I’ve been before and it’s still hot, but not 90°F - 110°F hot.
Plus, I’ve been to California the last two years. I’m very spoiled by mid-70°F weather!

I’ve gone to Orlando parks in very late November / early December every year since 2022 and I don’t remember any really hot weather (approaching 90). It’s usually ranged from cool (mid-day light puffer jacket) to pleasantly warm (acceptable swimming temps).
Maybe I’m misremembering or maybe I’ve been lucky. I hate Florida high heat too—which is why I go when I do!
