Why is Epic showing up as a 3 on Crowd Calendar for Saturday of Labor Day Weekend? Especially since the other Saturdays in September are 6’s.
I want to believe it, but I don’t want to pay more for a ticket to find out that there’s a glitch in the algorithm.
Historically, Labor Day weekend has been one of the slowest times to hit amusement parks. So I don’t know why Epic would be any different.
But never guaranteed.
What do the numbers look like at all the other parks? Are they also lower than other weekends?
I favor the one year ago Crowd Levels to use as a prediction, rather than the Crowd Calendar.
Epic was a CL5 last year on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend.
This is generally a good rule. This year, it is hard to say since labor day is almost a full week later compared to last, which makes the direct comparison a little less certain!
To me, what you can plan on…Epic will be crowded. No getting around it. And weather will play a big factor. If it rains, there are only 4 attractions available. 
It’s so strange. Last year the Sat was a 5, Sun was a 7 and Labor Day was a 2. But this year, the prediction is Sat 3, Su 5, Labor Day 7.
Right now Universal is predicted 2-2-4 and IoA is 1-1-1.
We can go any day, but are trying to shoot for the lowest crowds and it seems very irregular.
That’s what I was wondering…it’s later in the month.
