My family will be in central FL over Thanksgiving weekend this year, and we’re debating which days to spend at Epcot. We’re going to MK on Sunday, so ideally we’d go Friday so there is a day between both parks (our kids are still fairly young and the rest would benefit them). That said, I see that Epcot is a 6 on Friday, but a 3 on Saturday, and that seems too good to pass up. Does anyone have any experience with this weekend and/or difference in level?

Saturday just seems to be the worst day. I wonder if there’s some reason for this…

Friday Nov 27 is the first day of Festival of the Holidays at Epcot. The place will be busy with bloggers, as well as anyone else who wants to experience the various Storytellers and special things. Plus it is Black Friday (shopping).
You can look at last year’s numbers for comparison. EP was a 6 on the Friday after Thanksgiving, Nov 28, but a 2 on Nov 27, 29, 30 and a 3 on Nov 25 and 26.

I have no evidence for this, but I suspect some people also fly home on Saturday so they have a day at home to rest before starting work and school the next day.
