Is attending a park (HS) that has after hours that evening a bad idea? We are planned to go to HS the day of after hours in May. Will this have a big effect on wait times?

From everything I’ve heard on the forum there is no real effect on the park crowds with after hours events. Parties like the Christmas or Halloween party do make crowds lower those days in MK, but not so much after hours events.
I’m not sure about overall attendance, but parks with after hours definitely were less crowded for rope drop for us this month. My guess is people were sleeping in knowing they could go later.
