Anyone do an excursion to St. John through DCL or 3rd party? Sailing on Treasure in March and would love to go to Trunk bay. The 90 minutes allocated on DCL just seems too short and looking for an alternate. Would love to get anyone’s thoughts if booked through DCL. Went to Magens Bay on last Eastern Carribean cruise and it was nice but not interested in returning.

I’ve never seen St John as a port for DCL. We’ve done St Thomas and Tortola in the Virgin Islands but not St John.

That’s ok. I probably just need a stand alone trip to make a visit to St. John work and not through a cruise. Just booked a private snorkel guide on Tortola for March 2025. I had a fabulous private jeep tour on our last cruise in March 2024. We saw so many beautiful sites. Excited to see more of BVI by boat.

We are sailing the Treasure in June and it will be our first time to any of the Eastern Caribbean ports, but jumping in to say I noticed how little beach time that was too but the ride over to St. John’s from St. Thomas does seem to be a big part of it and I keep reading review of people talk about how beautiful the water and sand are so, I’m torn.

I did a catamaran to St John from St Thomas years ago. Different cruise line but we did an independent excursion. I believe it was the St John Champagne Catamaran. The ride over was amazing as was the empty beach.
