Early Park entry with AP but not room magic band?

For my next visit, I made reservations late so my magic bands will be waiting at the hotel this visit. I have other bands and my annual pass. My reservation also shows on my WDW app. Will I need to stop by the resort to pick up my mb for EARLY PARK ENTRY, or will my AP work? Not concerned about room entry, just early park entry that first day.

Take one of your old bands. As long as they’re still active on your MDE account, they should work fine. Then collect your new band when you get to the resort.

Thanks. I was planning on doing that just for the FastPasses but wasn’t sure how it would work for early entry.

Make sure you do on-line check in. I don’t think it should be necessary because I don’t think MDE is updated at all when you check in, but do it anyway!

But you can do EMH on your check-in and check-out day.
