Early Dec MK -party day LLMP needed?

My family and I are visiting DW in early/mid-December and planning for one MK day. We have 5 year old twins that we will likely keep to getting to bed by 8/8:30pm most days. Leaning towards visiting MK on a MVMCP day. Will we still need LLMP on a Thursday party day? My wish day if we can get all the reservations we want is to rope drop, QS lunch, bbb reservation at 4:30ish, dinner at Royal Table 5:45ish. If I can make the stars align for that line-up, do you think we will need LLMP?

Visiting on a party day is ideal!
I think if you have a whole day to devote to your plan you won’t need a LLMP. You might have to choose a few attractions to not visit without it but I think you’ll be able to get a lot in.

On a recent party day, a group of us did the following without using LLMP:
PP (rope drop)
Restroom break
BTMRR
HM
POTC
Restroom break
Country Bears
Snack Break
Tiana’s (VQ)
Tiana’s (LLSP)

And we were done by noon! I imagine with another 4.5 hrs (til BBB and CRT) we could have gotten the other half of the park done too. Waits were very low. IIRC even the headliners (7D) didn’t get much over 35 minutes that morning.

LLMP will provide you some insurance if you’re worried about not getting it all in but I don’t think you’ll regret going without.

Things may have changed, but when I took DD to BBB back in 2018 I recall the recommendation was to make the BBB res at least 90 minutes before a TS res, especially in the afternoon where the start is more likely to be delayed due to them running behind. Did you look into the timing?

Need? … no, you will likely have a wonderful day at MK without LLMP and lines will probably be relatively reasonable. But, I think it would enhance your day at MK so I will take the counterposition to @OBNurseNH (with all due respect to her because she knows her stuff!).

I’ve been at MK on party days the past two falls with my wife and 2 young kids (now ages 9 and 6) and I was happy that I purchased G+ (the predecessor to LLMP).

Here are the reasons (which tie in together to some extent):

(1) While most of the headliner rides (other than 7DMT, PP and JC) were only about 30 min waits, saving 20 minutes on each headliner ride (plus even more on PP and JC) and 5-10 mins on others helps fit more attractions into the day.

(2) That extra time is nice to have in general but especially with young kids because there always seem to be more washroom visits, snacks, and other interruptions than one plans.

(3) There is so much for doing kids to do at MK. LLMP helps maximize their experience and leaves the least amount of experiences “undone”.

Bottom line: Whether you listen to @OBNurseNH or me on the LLMP question, your family will most likely have an amazing time at MK either way

Do you mean Tron LLSP? Tiana’s doesn’t have a LLSP.

Oh oops - me and @Jeff did have LLMP and that’s the only one we used because the rest of the group did NOT have LLMP that day. Good catch. Since it was the only one it registered in my head as a SP.

TBH I was kinda pissed I bothered to get the LLMP for that day because that’s the only thing I used it on. But I guess one could view it as the same relative cost as a LLSP too, so for some just that would be worth it. I personally would have skipped it.

DH and I will be going to MK on a party day. We have been going back and forth on LLMP. I’m thinking most rides will be less than a 30 minute wait. With LLMP, it will be a shorter wait and depending on the ride, a much shorter wait than using standby. So don’t expect a walk on with LLMP! Others have spoken to that.

If LLMP fits into your budget, go for it to make the waits shorter! Or, maybe a compromise. If your family is planning to ride 7DMT, buy a LLSP for it. 7DMT has a really long standby line that inches along!:weary: Even the LLSP line can take 30+ minutes!

Have a magical trip! And welcome to the Forum!
