DVCapp Alternative

Has anyone found anything similar to this? I’m looking for a service that crawls the DVC website and notifies when reservations are found

Nothing that I’ve seen. I’ve had the best luck stalking the website myself while in the waitlist.

Also check and get notifications from the many reputable DVC rental stores, as well as check FB cancellation groups like DVC Fan.

I miss them terribly

you and I both! I got the latest reservation by stalking but it was so much more convenient.

Same here our upcoming reservation required multiple pre dawn crazy stalking unlike the previous vacation.

DVC trying to implement 2FA, at least to me means there is no way any of these type services are coming back.

I know this is a really old thread, but I just got an email that it’s back!

I already saved my search for April 2026!

Thank you for this!! I’ve got a tangled thread of waitlist and reservations I’ll cancel but I was thinking of this just the other day and … like magic!!

I’m really surprised that they just emailed me directly, but I think I did some early beta testing for them so they must have had my email address. Glad to help others!

Fun/annoying to literally see people walking… I have gotten one of these every day this week.

Just realized I was pronouncing this in my head as “DVC Capp” (as in “Captain”) instead of “DVC App” (as in application). :man_facepalming:

And wow … already sold out at 11 months???

Haha they should rebrand as “Capp!”

And ya, BWV studios are a hot commodity. It’s hard to beat 15 points and walking distance to 2 parks. I own there for this reason, but this trip needs to use SSR points so I’m monitoring. I’m almost certain I will need to get a 1-bedroom but maybe I can get lucky.

The irony on this is that I would prefer a 1-bedroom in general, but it’s the studio that has the pull-down twin and not the 1-bed!

I hate that there are any 1-BRs that sleep only 4. (I wish they could sleep 6, actually, but I understand the limitations.)

It is really, really dumb to charge almost twice as many points for a room with lower capacity. Do not get me started on the “they can sleep on the floor” business. I don’t envy those of you with large families.

I enjoyed our one and only time being able to fit in a Poly studio with an infant 2 and under. Farewell to the days of single hotel rooms.

So much this. I get it too, but I don’t need a whole other bedroom and places for 9 heads. I just need 2 beds and one double or Queen pull down/sofa sleeper. That does not exist at WDW onsite (sadly). Oh wait, I think the Cabins actually have room for 6. But navigating around the resort by golf cart isn’t exactly our idea of fun. And I didn’t verify it, but the fact that there might not be AC in the cabins, if it’s true, would be an absolute deal-breaker.

We are also in the club of farewell to single hotel rooms.

I guarantee that there is AC in the cabins. There definitely was in the old cabins.

Oh good. The golf cart navigation thing is still one I’m wary of. And one bathroom. But the beds are all the perfect configuration for a family of 6.
