Hi, I’m not on the forum much but I figured this was the place to ask. I need 30 points for a family vacy next Jan at OKW. What is the best way to get them? OKW is our home resort, so I’m hoping to score a grand villa at the 11mo window which opens for us on Feb 10. Any advice is greatly appreciated. TIA

I understand you can make a one-time purchase. You could also visit the DVC forums and check out their rent/swap boards.

I assume you don’t have any you can borrow from your next use year?
One time use points are limited to 24 per use year I’m afraid. Also you can only get them at the 7 month window.
Your best bet would be to either rent the points, which effectively means the owner would book probably 1 or 2 nights of your trip for you, or see if someone would be willing to do a transfer.
Alternatively, see if you can book the extra nights on a cash discount maybe? We had to do that last time for 2 nights.
