Hi there, I usually go to WDW a couple of times a year, and was wondering if the crowd levels in the crowd calendar usually change or once is out, is out?
If they do change is there a way to be informed of any change (and not only for specific dates?
thanks
Crowd calendars will definitely change as new data comes in. I recommend looking at several crowd calendars to see how well they align when you further out. Undercover Tourist, Kenny the Pirate, and TP (of course) are the ones I would go to first.
There has been a lot of volatility in the past years, which has made the crowd calendars predictions a little less accurate…but they still at least give a guide.
Yes. If you create a trip with specific dates in Touring Plans, then you should receive updates if CLs change, and when park hours change for your given dates.
how can i track a whole month at once for exemple? I want to track every month of the year
Off hand, I would say create a “trip” with every day of a particular month you are tracking. You’ll get emailed updates on those days if there are CL changes.
Be advised that MOST of the CL changes tend to happen once you are only a month or two out. So, there isn’t a huge advantage to wanting to track months out at a time.
If I understand you want to track every month? Like an average of the month? There will be a lot of variation between days within a month. For example, Presidents Day weekend is usually crazy but the rest of February (aside from any RunDisney events) is usually much less busy.
Usually, if TP does a complete WDW (or DL and UOR) update to the crowd calendar, TP also publishes a blog about doing so. Keep an eye on the blogs. They don’t happen very often, the last one I found was May 2024.
As @ryan1 said, most changes happen closer to a given date as Disney publishes their hours, and then modifies them.
