Does anyone know average # of guests staying in WDW hotels per time of year?

I would assume resort guest occupancy increase in the summer and decrease in the winter? But summer is more expensive, so does that mean more ppl stay offsite?

The hotels are actually pretty close to full all year round. Only about a third of guests in the parks are staying onsite on the busiest days.

I would think it’s a lot less than a third staying onsite.

I thought it was more like 10-15% of WDW park goers are staying onsite. The number of hotels and holiday homes in Orlando is insane.

35% is the figure I’ve seen based on the number of rooms at WDW and average attendance at the parks. It’s only a best guess though.

Does anyone know how that compares to Disneyland? I imagine the percentage there is much lower?
