Any owners at the DL resorts can clue me in on the popularity of April (think New England school vacation weeks) bookings and likelihood of getting a room at the 7 month mark?

If it is the week before or after Easter (i.e. peak point season) you stand a chance. I found availability can be a little better on those weeks where the points charts are highest. I was able to get 3 nights a couple of years ago. I had to be quick right at 8, but I got VGC. I don’t jnow about Disneyland Hotel.

Looking forward to 2026, Easter will be much earlier than school break.
Did you have any luck?? I am trying to get a feel for Disneyland DVC at 7 months too. And we are from MA.

Yes- I was able to book a studio at Disneyland hotel, right at 7 months. Grand Californian was not available. We will fly out the Sunday of school break and fly home Friday- at least that’s our plan for now!

Just last week I was trying to book Grand Californian at the 7 month mark. I was shut out the first day and then it was evident someone was walking a reservation. I was able to pick it up day by day around 9:15 am, after the person kept dropping the first day of their trip. So annoying! But ultimately I did get the days I wanted.

I didn’t care which resort I stayed at, although I like the idea of two beds and no pull out couch sleeper.. I’m just glad I don’t have to find a hotel room now (and pay for it)
