I am so excited that most of the Halloween decorations, HM holiday, etc. are starting on Sept. 1, which is our last park day. It will add even more excitement to my DGDs first DL trip.
Looks like our Oogie Boogie Bash day will be October 26th. Can’t wait to get down there again. Is was so great last Halloween season. Going to be a travel day so we are going to need to nap beforehand but it will be great that we can have plenty of candy for the rest of the trip!
Booked my hotel last week, which turned into an adventure. Desert Inn is booked almost all of Oct, with only suites available the last week (it’s also completely booked for Nov & Dec). Grand Legacy is $300/night for days I need! And everything else was also high or booked up, so ended up at Castle Inn. Never stayed there before but watched some travel videos & looks okay. Is at the furthest I want to walk, but at least I have a room. Now to get OBB tickets.
We stayed there once & it’s on par with the rest of the places you mentioned on Harbor at the very least. The castle decor is very prominent in that they commit to the theme and it’s everywhere. Some feel its dated too, but it’s castles, so those are like centuries old so some decor will be from not this decade, but it all felt well-maintained, so I didn’t mind it one bit.
I have three options during my trip…a Thursday, Sunday, or Tuesday. Tuesday is the cheapest, Sunday is the most expensive. Does that mean Tuesday is probably going to be the least busy?
They will all sell out, and all be the same amount of busy in my experience.
What @Wahoohokie said. They price it that way so that it still sells out on a Tuesday night when less people will be vacationing or if local, less likely to want to stay out late for a Halloween party.
So it sounds like I might as well just go to the cheapest one.
Yes, that is a very good idea. I also like to consider if it will be a night we will stay up late to enjoy the full party or not.
Will they sell out before they go on sale to the general public?
No, but they will sell out quickly once on sale to the public. When are you thinking about going?

Tickets don’t go on sale for a month, so you have time!

Probably, but not sure when yet. I was thinking mid-October like 10/19. The parties are on Sun, Tues and Thurs nights. I am flexible (except on weekends as the stupid pass is blocked all Sat and Sun in October). Was hoping to roundup @Julianne_fki as well, and you and Melissa if you are up to it.
