Have a great time!

Hey! It’s been a busy day! DD had to get used to the scooter. She had a crying meltdown ar the start of our entry. She wasn’t driving aggressively enough and no one would let her get around.

With a little patience and practice she is doing well!

We’re having a great time. I’ll report later!!

Hoping those are the only sad tears of the trip. It is an adjustment! Enjoy the day!

She really got the hang of it by late yesterday. THANK GOODNESS!!:rofl:

Thankfully DCA is super scooter friendly!

Having a great time! Stopping for food at Pym’s

How long did you wait for GotG? Could you tell how many platforms were loading?

Hey! I’ve got a momentwhoke DD meets Elsa at Animation Academy.

Both sides are operating today. We went there for RD and waited about 20 minutes. I got a LL before park opening for a repeat ride. At 7:50am the earliest LL was 9:45am.

By 10am, maybe earlier, all LL distribution for GotG was done. Incredicoaster was offlone today until at least 11am.

That happens surprisingly often. I really hate how Disneyland slow walks maintenance in the morning.

20 minutes for GotG is great! Smart to ride it at RD. The later in the day, the longer the wait, IME.

DD is taking a break. I’ve got about 90 minutes to go solo. The park is pretty busy!

Everything is at least 60 minutes. RSR Single Rider is almost queued to the entry.

I may go do Animation Academy??

This is not uncommon but the line does move fast! Not to say it’s short.

Good morning!

It’s been so odd not doing a “Live” TR.

However, DD has needed my attention.

I have plenty to say, a lot positive and a couple issues.

We LOVED Carthy Circle!

They let us in 30 mins early to RD lands!

We are heading to Indy first!

You all are looking so fabulous!!! I love it. Have a blast.

We were one of the first groups let on the ride. However, we barely made it out of the loading station before it went offline. We’ve been sitting in front of Mara for about 15 minutes!

DD is meeting Princesses, so I am doing a couple rides she can’t.

I got to ride Matterhorn for the first time! It’s super fun! I would definitely ride it routinely if I could!

The morning was a miserable headache.

We were stuck on Indy for 30 minutes. They gave us multiple experience passes and a reride, so that helped.

Then we went to Space Mountain. Every CM there was awful! It’s a long story, but in summation, do NOT ride Space Mt. if you are disabled or using a scooter!

Even with a LL we waited 50 minutes, where we were put in a corner with other disabled riders and left to be forgotten.

Multiple of us, that had been put to the side, had to get a Lead to assist and even that was another 15 minutes. I talked to the Lead, politely. and was told, “If you don’t like it, Guest Services is at the front of the park.” :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

We are having fun though. After that two hour delay. I have gotten things back on track, for the most part.

Hey! The afternoon CMs all over DL have been Magical! We’ve had so many great moments of kindness that it did make me forget the morning.

Sadly, we’ve had 4 ride breakdowns today. I have more Multiple Experience Passes than I can use…. The CMs gave us double MEP a couple times.

We got to IASW at 6:45pm to ride and check out possible Paint The Night parade spots. It was already pretty full. We ditched our IASW ride and found a front row / rope view. We still have about 80 minutes!

If I was solo, I would be OK still riding things as I don’t have to be any place special.

However, if you have strollers/scooters you may want to get your spot 60 - 80 minutes early.

After 7:45pm, it became what I would say is bery crowded. Everyone is nice and we’re all watching the projections on IASW now at 8pm.

Last day!

We absolutely LOVED Paint The Night! MNSSHP “Boo to You” parade is my favorite. This is a close second place!!

I’ll do a full DLR recap when I get home.

Sadly, even though we left DL with plenty of time, when we got to Don Churro around 10:30pm they were already Sold Out and closing up..I was truly sad!

Today is USH and FanFest

They are testing multiple trains on the new F&F Hollywood Drift coaster today!

The park is pretty busy, but not as bad as DLR.

DD is doing her own ‘meet-up’ with an online friend at USH today until it’s time for FanFest.

Before I released her, I did ask she ride Secret Life of Pets with me as it is closed tonight during the event. It’s still one of the best “modern” dark rides available in a theme park. Sadly, it was supposed to open 2020 and was pushed to 2022 with little publicity after the pandemic. It will always seem like a “hidden treasure” to me.

Saw Waterworld and it’s even better than last year. USH must have fixed up a couple things and added a TON of fire with massive explosions for the FanFest One Piece stunt show in that amphitheater.

I headed to The Lower Lot via the Starway escalators. It’s such a great view of Burbank!

It’s a bit warm and I am in one of my infamous sequin jackets. So, I took advantage of the Universal Visa Rewards lounge! Free water, chips, charging stations and private toilets! I grabbed 3 bottles of water and a fourth to drink!:rofl:

I headed straight to Super Nintendo World as the Bowser ride was at 25 minutes. I did single rider last year and missed the queue

The posted wait was 25 minutes, but there must be a delay as I have stalled in queue a couple times and it’s be 35 - 40 minutes. I rode it last year and really dislike this ride. However, I am so deep into the queue I would hate to go and “waste" all the time I already waited. I don’t know how much further it is to go…

What was a posted 25 minute wait turned into 55 minutes.

I did enjoy the queue. Now, that I’ve done it twice and seen it all in person I doubt I’ll ever do it again unless I am with another person that wants to try it.

Hopped on Jurassic World. There are WAY more “spitters” on this version! :sweat_droplets::sweat_droplets:

Hey! We got back home safely Saturday afternoon!

We woke up on Friday at 7:30am and went to USH for our all-day/night at USH. I got home about 2pm Saturday and passed out at 4:30pm! I slept about 15 hours until 7:30am Sunday!

I do want to do a recap - especially about FanFest. (Which was still incredible!!)

Since I didn’t do it “Live”, I don’t want to drone on about “First we went here…then ate this…later rode that…”

For DLR - I’m going to review the food items, give my experience with the scooter rental/use and the highest momements of CM “Magic” and lowest momements of CM behavior.

For USH - I’m going to do the same, but do a more detailed report about FanFest.

If anyone has ANY questions about DL / DCA / USH / FanFest and/or commuting from Anahiem to USH - please feel free to ask!

Hey! I know I haven’t done a recap / reviews yet. (I’m sure no one is really waiting! )

However, someone crashed their car into my house on Tuesday! I’ve been dealing with that!

They crashed into a wall with plumbing for a bathroom and laundry. There was water everywhere and my house was flooded! My fence and gate were obliterated! It is something out of a cartoon!

It happened while both DW & I were at work. Luckily no one was hurt.

Someone was wearing a orthopedic “walking boot” while driving. It got stuck and the driver panicked. They crashed into park cars before shattering my gate / fence into pieces. Then they crashed into my house and kept going. They finally stopped in my backyard after knocking down two other walls of fencing!! :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

DW & I are living out of a Holiday Inn nearby!

I’ll try to post when I have time / feel better…..
