My DS12 started complaining about non-HD channels on TV last year - I told him, fine: DON’T watch the 100 years of terrific movies and shows that happened before you were born. 
Then he found a chair in the corner and stared at a tiny iPod for an hour.
Anyway, He’s come around now.
