I’m planning a Disney Springs day in August (a Monday). This will follow my long night at MNSSHP, so I do not plan to get there until after noon.
Anyone know how the Lego Minifigure Factory works if you have a reservation from the Lego website? I see videos on YouTube showing people standing in a long line that wraps around the building - wondering if the “reservation” is to be included in this long line? I’m also wondering how long it usually takes to complete the minifigure (if it includes standing in the long line, seems like it may take a few hours).
I have dining reservations at Raglan Road for 5 PM, so I can see the dancers and live entertainment So I wanted to make sure to time my Lego Store visit correctly so I can do that before dinner.
Other stops may include: World of Disney Store, the Photo Pass Studio, the Pearl Factory kiosk, and possibly Swirls on the Water for a dole whip flight at the end of the night. Any other suggestions for a first time Disney Springs visitor?
I can’t answer your mini-fig question (but I know there are Liners who can!)
I just wanted to suggest that you visit the margarita bar (Dockside Margaritas) across from Marketplace Co-op
I also love the store called DisneyStyle by the StarWars Outpost in the West Side. They tend to have unique clothing there that I don’t see elsewhere. Also Uniqlo which often has great Disney branded tees for short money
Be on the lookout for the strolling piano player, as well as potentially any live music in the amphitheater.
If you are eating lunch there as well, I would suggest Polite Pig or Earl of Sandwich. (Chicken Guy is good…but they significantly reduced the number of sauce options, so not as good as it once was.)
If you really want to next level your DS visit, you could go see Cirque du Soleil!
I second the Margarita bar if you like that sort of thing.
I wish! I just took my 15 year old daughter to Vegas and saw two Cirque shows, which she didn’t enjoy (crazy, I know). So I didn’t even consider asking her to go to Disney’s version, as I suspect she wouldn’t want to go. I’ll add this to my list for my friends-adult only-trip next year.
Ohhhhhh! That makes more sense… although I’d love for someone to bring back the keytar too… I’ll be on the lookout for this. I don’t shy away from singing or dancing in public when a good tune comes on! What a neat and unique offering. Thanks for sharing this.
Oh…and if you want to brave unique ice cream flavors, check out Salt and Straw. If you are a traditional flavor person, it is just okay. But for adventurous folks, worth a gander.
You do not wait in the line if you have a reservation. I have never found the line very long anyway and sometimes there is no line but we don’t really go during peak times.
Further reading your questions, I have NEVER seen a line for many hours. But making the minifig really doesn’t take that long unless your kid is really indecisive. 10 minutes maybe?
They have sandwiches served on rolls made out of croissant dough. I had the turkey & Brie with bacon and DH had the chicken salad sandwich. Both are served with thick cut chips. Both sandwiches were delish. I think they also have ham and cheese and a charcuterie sandwich.
