Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Boat Transportation to be Temporarily Suspended (Jan 2026)

Pretty accurate! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Just as bad for “media” in my book. I almost finished my print and broadcast journalism degree before I realized I didn’t want to be told what to write (that and I struggle with the grammar part, lol, but I try).

The problem is people don’t always read the article and just go off a headline and that’s how false info spreads.

Aren’t guests usually “shocked” or “outraged” these days, rather than surprised?

This one hit my feed just today! I never click and somehow Google still serves them up. It’s comic relief to me to try and determine what the actual story is. I can’t find the good one I saw recently about them “eliminating” dragons from Berk!

This is the actual headline for the relevant 17 day ferry closure at WL…

So, my takeaway from your headline examples: Touring Plans doesn’t care about the emotional impact of the issue, like DFBGuide (“surprised”). Nor about the impact on guests like ITM (“left scrambling”).

TP is just…so cold-hearted!

This is the site that Google’s AI was referencing for MONTHS when I searched “do you have to tip at Disney World” and the AI response said “Yes, you are required to tip to get off the rides at WDW.”

Bahaha! I now hope The Onion is used by Google AI as well to answer questions! (No, not really )

Oh wow - this site is clearly all satire but it doesn’t obviously say it is so this is dangerous, especially if AI is using it as a source.

And it looks like it’s under the Universal Studios tabs but a headline for DW. I bet it has to do with ticket prices.
