Disney on a limited diet

Our recent trip was April 27-May 3. I have been navigating some food intolerances and I even debated about canceling but decided to go for it. I am so grateful that I did go. This was our first stay at The Riviera and we absolutely loved it! I only did half days at the parks but it was a pleasure to be able to spend more time at the resort. I also loved being able to walk to the Caribbean resort to shop and dine. Every restaurant was accommodating to my needs. The counter service, Primo Piatto, had a number of allergy free selections and they were all delicious. So this is just to encourage people that Disney is a great place to be even when you’re not feeling your best. I appreciate the stories and advice I have received from this site.

That’s awesome that they handled your food intolerances so well and that you had a great vacation! That’s why we like Disney so much; eating is less of a chore there.

Yes, so true! It was a little sad not to be able to indulge myself with all the delicious food options but it was more important to stay well.

Absolutely. What good is a vacation if you indulge and make your stay miserable?
