I contacted customer service, they say they will come in and out of stock. Just need to keep checking.
Cross Posting here:
Thanks @poohfanclub ! I wasnāt sure where to post that.
Youāre welcome, and thanks for letting us know! I hope they donāt run out before we get them!
Thank you! Iāve been waiting for this one. I almost wasnāt patient enough.
Thank you for sharing! Any idea what the limit is?
Sorry, this should have been in response to @Patricioso
Are these gift cards from Samās usually actual cards shipped in the mail or e-giftcard that provides the card number in the purchase email?
The ones with the deal are usually e-gift cards. But if you have (or purchase) a physical gift card, you can load the physical gift card and the e-gift card into https://www.disneygiftcard.com/ and transfer the balance to your physical card. I think the limit you can carry on one card is $1K.
PLEASE NOTE: I got my flier today, and this promotion is a Weekend Doorbuster. It is good for May 1-3 only! The deals that are not Doorbusters are good through May 31.
(The fine print in the flier stated in general that for Doorbusters, quantities may be limited. But I did not see a specific limitation for the Disney gift cards. Iām sure the limit will be on the website when the time comes to order.)
Good eye @poohfanclub, itās just a āDoorbusterā promo May 1st thru 3rd only, and correctā¦.āOnline orderā only, so it will be an e-gift through email.
When you click on the gift card on the Samās Club website, it says Limit 2. (1000 people have this in their cart already?
)
Now that Iām looking at it, is this really an electronic gift card? There are two types, the gift card for shipping says 1000 carts. But the email gift card which says āemail deliveryā on the photo of the gift card has 800 in the carts. So, we defrinitely need to make sure we are gettting the right one, if there is a right one. Iām not sure. Samās didnāt send me an ad ![]()
Ooh, good catch, you are right! I had quickly clicked on the $500 regular gift card earlier when I saw the the1,000 in the cart. The mailer specifically says $500 eGift Card and it says āOnline onlyā. Thanks for pointing that out!
Those Samās Disney GC deals historically go pretty quickly so be prepared to hit it as soon as possible!
Donāt forget: Target circle offers can get you 15% or more off GCs if you get the good ones on your account over time and use a Red card for purchases. I had a longish time where they werenāt putting any offers in my account, but thankfully leading up to my current trip I had a few in a row and was able to rack up almost $1K in Disney GCs all at least at 15% off.
Can of course double up on Target bonuses if both people in the house have their own accounts.
Just be sure to check each Circle offer terms and make sure they specifically do not exempt third party gift cards. Most just exempt Visa/MC and Target GCs, but 3rd party are fine.
My current plan is to use my discounted gift cards along with the D23 Disneyland 5% off discount for tickets. D23 membership is free with Disney+. Still waiting for a great Target Circle deal. But the reviews on Disney gift cards from Target are not stellar. Iāve been nervous to buy from there.
Thatās the one I had in my cart just to watch. So, glad I realized it too.
I donāt know what the reviews are saying, but I have bought a TON of them recently, only issue was I wiped my local store out. ![]()
I have purchased so many from target and never had any issues. Remember that the people making reviews are the few having problems and not the thousands who have no issues
I think it is mostly the online orders. There are online reviews of the customer never receiving the card. Not an issue if you can easily go to the store and get them. Many of those reviews say that Target was no help and that is what concerns me. There are not many reviews overall. So probably not really that many bad experiences versus purchasers. But, half of the reviews for the physical card are 1 Star.
Iāve bought so many Disney gift cards from Target. Usually ecards, but occasionally physical cards. The physical cards sometimes feel slow to arrive, but the ecards come quick. Almost exclusively buying them online.
