Disney After Hours Summer Events-how quickly do these sell out?

Our family is planning a Disney Trip for July 2026. I see some After Hours dates have been released for this summer-we’ve always talked about trying one of these, but never have-maybe this summer will be a first for us. Does anyone know how quickly these sell out?? We like to fly Allegiant Air when going to Orlando because we can get super cheap direct flights with a rental car bundle that is also cheap, but Allegiant will only fly on certain dates for us. They will probably release their summer flight schedule some time in November. Will Disney Summer After Hours dates still be available, or do they sell out right away?? Also, for those who have done it–are these events worth the $$? Thanks for the help!!

oh boy, I don’t remember one ever selling out before, but that’s just me…. doesn’t mean it didn’t happen

Disney seems to stress the limited capacity on these, and I’ve read other places that they sell out quickly, but I thought I would check here for the most reliable information.

yes, someone w/ more knowledge & experience will speak up, I’m sure  I know our family really likes this after hour tickets in the summer to avoid the death-ray-of-the-sky, but I don’t ever remember having a problem buying them

Interesting question! I think they go on sale next Tuesday–I was thinking it was one of those things where we need to be ready and jump on it, but maybe the urgency isn’t there.

Can’t wait until someone responds!

I did a Hollywood Studios After Hours last year in March and I am confident we did not buy tickets immediately when they went on sale.

I did an after hours at HS the first week of July. I bought my tickets within 10 days before the event.

My main complaint was that there are no shows at after hours, and that’s something I really miss. Other wait times were generally low, which was great. Except SDD— it stayed longish all night. It’s fun, but “worth it” is so subjective. Would I do it again? Maybe, but I wouldn’t jump at the chance. On the upside it’s less hot. But risk of rain, which we did have that night . .

I did an MK one in Feb 2024 and only bought my ticket perhaps 2 weeks before I arrived at most.

I feel very similarly about the “worth". SDD was over 30 minutes all night and Rise was down for a large portion, then MMRR so it felt like we were darting around chasing open rides. But it was cool to try when it was just DH and I.

I have only ever done MK After Hours and I loved it all three times. Would absolutely do that again.

Any idea if Undercover Tourist does discounts for these events? I thought I remembered buying these through them before but I don’t see them on the site yet (although tickets were just released yesterday so maybe it takes a little while).

Right now, tickets are only available to people who have Disney Resort reservations on the date of the event. They won’t go on sale to the general public until Oct. 14. I’ve never looked for them on Undercover Tourist before, so maybe they will have them after the general public sale date. Thanks to everyone for the info–it sounds like tickets selling out shouldn’t be an issue. I’ll wait to see how my flights turn out, then see what dates line up the best at that point.
