Hello, It’s my first time to use this forum although I’ve been using The Unofficial Guide for several trips over the years!
My question is if it matters how early or late you do the Direct To Room checkin? What are the benefits? Our trip is in 11 Days. I requested TP to send our accommodations request back at the 30 day mark. We are staying first in Bay Lake Tower. Thank you!
I do my online check in about a week before. Although I’m sure you could do it now if you wanted. Just do not put any room request notes in the Disney online checkin. It can over write the TP info.
I dont think there is an advantage to when you do online check in.
One thing to note: some resorts will send your “room ready” text or email at ehayever point your room is ready. But some wait for you to arrive onstie to release or assign your room.
So if you have arrived, and you don’t have a message yet, definitely stop by the front desk.
