Dining Plan credit use question- we added a day

This for sure …

And consider 1) walking from Storybook to the WL bus depot, 2) riding to EPCOT’s front gate, 3) traversing Future World and 4) then getting to the opposite side of World Showcase with a 3 and 7 year old seems like a lot to get done and be able to enjoy the fireworks.

Welp. I’ll try to remember to let you know how it goes.

We love character dining and sit down meals too. With my kids it seems like if we take a break out of the park too late in the day, it’s hard to get revved back up to go out to the park again, so midday or dinner meals work best for us in-park (instead of at a hotel) if the plan is to have park time afterward. Less energy used up by travel.

Is there availability to switch the Storybook meal to Day 2 (day with no park tickets)? You have more time that day to make a journey out of it and not watch a clock. And then Epcot Day 3, make your ADR closer to late breakfast or lunchtime for Chef Mickey or some other thing that you can monorail or skyliner to (or in park like GG or Akershus), keeping the SRT fireworks package at night?

If you are seated late at Storybook (like we were), or if the last dessert thing takes a weirdly long time to get to your table (like it did for us), it might be closer to 6:30/6:45 when you are leaving which would put you at Epcot closer to 7:30/7:45 followed by walk back to SRT. Not the end of the world but just trying to space things out that day and feel less like running from appt to appt. We love WL (username checks out LOL) but it is a hike and if the kiddos get all cozy after a big long meal, the hustle back to Epcot, followed by hustle back to Pop, might feel like a long night just for some fireworks.

How special that you get to have some time alone with your littles!

Thanks for your helpful and thoughtful response.

I looked around, and we made some adjustments.

Now we have
2nd day:
Cape May 9:55
Snow White 5:50

Hopefully the kids can sleep in a bit, we can get up and hop on the skyliner, then head back to Pop to swim/hang around until we go over to WL for dinner. Probably if time allows we’ll take the bus to MK then walk to CR and grab the boat there.

3rd day:
Crystal Palace 1:15
Spice Road Table 8:30

I told DD7 that now we’ll have to do Crystal Palace twice, and she laughed with delight. It’s one of her favorites.
So we’ll get up early, rope drop MK (theoretically), ride stuff, eat lunch, then let the kids decide if they want to go to Epcot or do a couple more things at MK first. We can take the ferry (I’m not sure I’ve ever done it) and then the monorail, do Epcot fireworks, then the skyliner back to Pop. Kids will still get to do lots of transportation options.

Thanks all for your help!
