Dining Choices and Estimated Costs

I was going to add this to my previous post (because it is related) but it is really a different topic. Following are the table service restaurants I am going to TRY to get. I am estimating price of how I think our particular group of four adults will order in each restaurant. I will do quick services after I see which table services I get. Then I will add it all up and see if dining plan makes sense. I kind of doubt it. We like appetizers more than desserts and would not have an alcoholic drink at lunch (but we would have two for dinner, alas.). It’s quite possible we won’t order quite as much as I estimated. Thought I’d share in case anyone was interested. Also welcome any thoughts!

That looks like generous budgets. I always find portions are large at WDW. 1 TS and 1 QS would be enough for us. We also aren’t desert people. Occasionally we will split one. I’d much rather get snacks in the parks. With 4 adults, the DP will most likely cost you a lot more than out of pocket. But with your estimate, you could get discounted gift cards and just pay for dining that way- saving at least 5%. Charge it all to your room and on the last evening of your trip use the giftcards to pay off your room balance.

Or pay for your meals with the gift cards. That’s what we did in October, which was very easy to do.
