I just got this extremely helpful email from DCL concerning cruises going out of Southampton, FYI:

Not sure if it’s the same as in Orlando, but if you book the night before at the Orlando airport hotel through DCL, you get a huge discount off the regular hotel prices.

I was just glad to get this detailed info that they will act as travel agents for the pre/post hotel, flights, and transfers, because I usually do everything myself and didn’t want to track down a new travel agent.

I’m hoping to get a good bundle because I want to get business class or economy-plus seats and it appears they will cost a small fortune!

I’m just amazed that this information isn’t on their website or anywhere I would usually look for it.

Oops saw this thread after I responded to your post on the other one. This is definitely a lot clearer and more confirmed than their website that I posted over there that was based on the assumption that if Disney listed it as pre-cruise hotel, it could have ground transport added. But I do agree you have to DIG for it on there. I only knew where to go because whenver we go from not Port Canaveral I end up on the ground transportation page a lot looking up the flight details and options for hotels and where we can get ground.

I do everything myself most trips but I’ve always booked flights ourselves as the flights (at least domestic US) are outrageous through DCL’s reservation bundle. But I do hear you on having it one nice bundle that they manage all the transfers from start to finish - that’s definitely worth some additional cost.

Thank you so much! I can’t book my flights until 1 year in advance (July) so I have some planning time. I get to practice with DCL this July on a quick 5-day Bahamas cruise on the Fantasy. Can’t wait!
